This appendix provides an overview of the changes made to
the text. It should be noted that the following is not an exhaustive
guide—changes in wording made for clarity and expansions
of the differential diagnosis sections of the text are not included
here. It should also be noted that the majority of paragraphs in
DSM-IV have not been revised, indicating that, even after the literature
review, most of the information in the original text remains up-to-date.
